Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 4, 2026  ·  Last Updated: April 4, 2026

Note: These Terms govern use of this website (zerovectorsec.com). All professional cybersecurity engagements — including penetration testing, security assessments, incident response, and consulting — are governed by a separate written agreement signed prior to any work commencing. No engagement begins without an executed contract.

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using zerovectorsec.com (the "Site"), operated by Zero Vector Security ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), based in Canton, Ohio. By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use this Site.

1. Use of This Website

This Site is provided for informational purposes only. The content on this Site — including descriptions of services, general cybersecurity information, and company background — does not constitute professional advice of any kind. You should not act or refrain from acting based solely on information found on this Site without first consulting directly with us or another qualified professional.

You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not:

  • Violate any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations
  • Infringe the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its related systems
  • Introduce malicious code, viruses, or harmful data of any kind
  • Impersonate Zero Vector Security or any of its personnel

2. No Professional Engagement via Website

Submitting a contact form, sending an email, or otherwise communicating with us through this Site does not create a professional, contractual, or attorney-client type relationship. No cybersecurity engagement — including but not limited to penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, threat intelligence, red team exercises, or incident response — will commence without a separately negotiated and executed written agreement between Zero Vector Security and the client.

Any security testing or assessment work performed without a written authorization agreement may constitute unauthorized computer access under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) and applicable state law. All engagements require explicit written authorization before work begins.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zero Vector Security and its owner(s) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from:

  • Your use of, or inability to use, this Site
  • Any reliance placed on information or content published on this Site
  • Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Site
  • Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the Site's content
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any personal information stored therein

This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if Zero Vector Security has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

This Site and all content on it are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Zero Vector Security expressly disclaims all warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and code — is the property of Zero Vector Security and is protected by applicable U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Site content without our prior written consent.

The "Zero Vector Security" name, logo, and zerovectorsec.com domain are the exclusive property of Zero Vector Security. Unauthorized use of any of these marks is prohibited.

6. Penetration Testing & Security Services Disclaimer

Zero Vector Security offers penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, red team operations, and related security services. These services are provided exclusively under written engagement agreements that include:

  • Explicit written authorization from the system/network owner
  • A defined scope of work and rules of engagement
  • Applicable legal protections for both parties
  • Confidentiality and non-disclosure obligations

Nothing on this Site should be construed as authorization to conduct any form of security testing on any system. All security work is scoped, authorized, and documented in advance. Zero Vector Security does not conduct unauthorized testing under any circumstances.

7. Third-Party Links

This Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. Zero Vector Security does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of any third-party site. You access third-party sites at your own risk.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of this Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Stark County, Ohio.
